By using AlwaysEdit you agree to these terms.

The service

AlwaysEdit is a tool to annotate documents. Free use requires no account. The paid plan (AlwaysEdit Pro) adds features such as cloud sync, saved signature, removal of the export footer, and team management.

Your content

You own your documents and annotations. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and sync them for you when you enable cloud features. You're responsible for having the right to upload and share the documents you use.

Acceptable use

Don't use AlwaysEdit to break the law, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Account → Manage billing; access continues to the end of the paid period. Prices: Pro $4.99/month or $39/year; Team $8 per admin seat per month (minimum 3 seats). Taxes may apply. Refunds are handled case by case.

Signatures

AlwaysEdit's signature feature places an image of your signature on a document. It is not a certified e-signature service and does not by itself create an audit trail; check whether your use case requires a regulated e-signature provider.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". Keep your own copies of important documents. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You can delete your account anytime. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We'll post updates here and notify account holders of material changes.
